In early May I’m returning to visit the cousins and undertake research for a novel that I’m writing. I have a two weeks in which to tour historical sites related to Mary, Queen of Scots and her Court. The itinerary includes at least:

- Thirlestane
- Hermitage
- Loch Leven
- Falkirk Palace
- Linlithgow
- Lennoxlove
- Edinburgh Castle
- Holyrood
- Portsoy
